My First Batch of Super Mario Maker Levels (With IDs)

Super Mario Maker

Super Mario Maker has been out for a few days now, and I’ve had some serious trouble putting it down. Despite a few missteps with filtering through levels, the game is an absolute blast. The sheer creativity it allows you to create with relatively few tools is amazing. I’ve already played hundreds of levels made by others, and currently I’ve made seven of my own. I will list them here along with their ID numbers, so feel free to have a go at them. And don’t forget to give them stars so I can keep making more of them!!

I wrote before that I would be showing my Mario Maker levels in video form, and I still plan to do that. But making videos can take time, and I’m not an expert at it either, so forgive me if it takes some time to get any Mario Maker videos ready, but they will happen. I am a bit impatient though, and wanted to share my levels nonetheless. So, here are the names and IDs of my seven currently available levels.

Born of cold and winter air and mountain rain combining, the man called Scott is an ancient sorcerer from a long-forgotten realm. He’s more machine now than man, twisted and evil. Or, you know, he could just be some guy who loves video games, animations and cinema who just wanted to write about such things.

  1. Glad to see you’re enjoying the game! My copy is still in the mail so I’m patiently waiting for it! So once it arrives, I’ll be sure to check out your levels! In the meantime, I’ve finally started Super Mario World! Absolutely loving it so far! But the game is a painful reminder that I really suck at Mario games lol

      1. Hey so I finally played some of your levels! My two favourites so far are The Tingle Zone and Showdown in the Clouds! Honestly, the latter took me over an hour to complete :/ I know I suck at Mario games lol and don’t worry, I starred all the levels I played and followed you πŸ™‚ keep up the great work!!

      2. Awesome! Thanks! πŸ™‚

I am quite proud of The Tingle Zone personally. It’s the one level I’ve made that I regularly go back to and don’t really regret anything I did with it. I know it’s a bit of a simple “keep running” platformer, but I wanted to make a simple but hectic platforming level that was also its own joke. I wanted to use either Waluigi or Tingle as the character, but I’d played a few levels based around Waluigi, but none as Tingle (still haven’t), so I went with the latter. I may make more levels based on him just for the comedic value.

Y’know, I actually have some trouble with Showdown in the Clouds myself, and I made it! However, it was originally much harder! When I was making it I had to keep going back and tweaking the boss fights because I found it was getting too frustrating.

Thanks again for playing my levels, and I hope you check out the rest. Hopefully my levels will get a little more variety though, I feel I’m getting a tendency of making more “keep running” type levels.

  2. No problem dude, your levels are great! I honestly love the “keep running” platformers, they’re fun, hectic, and just plain addicting πŸ™‚ yeah and like I said, I followed you so I’ll always be up to date on your newest creations! I too want to upload some of my levels, though I feel as if they’re not that great :/ but it’ll help me become a better creator πŸ˜› for Showdown in the Clouds, I just focused on bowser jr and once I defeated him, I immediately hoped into his Clown Copter and got the hell out of there. I didn’t even finish off the second boss in the area, I was just so desperate!

    1. Cool! I hope you enjoy them. Be warned though, my newest stage “Love is a Powerful Thing” is simply a punchline, nothing more. And the one before that “Thwomp the Yard!!” was intentionally made to be extremely difficult (but fair).

      1. ahahahahahah… I have played that one. It made me laugh quite a bit. I cleared it on my second or third attempt. I wonder if anyone survived it on a first try.
