Ask Me Anything: Episode III – Revenge of the Questions

Okay, so a decent amount of time has passed since the last time I did this (over a year), and since I’m approaching my seven-hundredth blog here at the Dojo, I figured ‘what the hell,’ let’s give this another go. And well, the fact that I’ve been slow in writing reviews as of late has me feeling like I need to write something. So hopefully this can tide me over until I write some reviews proper.

So yeah, this is another “Ask Me Anything.” It is what it sounds like. Just ask me some questions, and I’ll answer them in my 700th blog. You can ask me about this site, my opinions on things, what’s happening with my learning game-development, pretty much anything of the sort.

Not surprisingly, I’ve never got too many questions in the past, and I don’t expect that to change here. But since I’ve gotten some new followers in the past year I figured I may as well give this another go. I do recommend leaving any questions you want to ask me in the comments section of this particular post, but I suppose you can write them in one of my other blogs as well (though I recommend informing me that your questions are for the AMA if that is how you go about it).

So yeah, ask away, and I’ll answer in blog 700. And don’t worry your pretty little head, I’ll get to those reviews ASAP.

About themancalledscott

Born of cold and winter air and mountain rain combining, the man called Scott is an ancient sorcerer from a long-forgotten realm. He’s more machine now than man, twisted and evil. Or, you know, he could just be some guy who loves video games, animations and cinema who just wanted to write about such things.

1- If you could improve one element of Breath of the Wild, which one would it be?

2- Which would you prefer as the next release for Mario’s main line of games: a sequel for Odyssey or a sequel for Galaxy 2?

3- Should Metroid Prime go the way of Corruption and divide its map into different planets or be more like most Metroid games and feature one huge map located on a sole planet?

4- Since we are getting a sequel to The Incredibles, are there any other Pixar franchises you think deserve a second installment?

The state of gaming criticism is pretty dire if you ask me. If you had one piece of advice for gaming critics on how to improve, what would it be?

When the 2010s come to a close, do you see yourself declaring it the greatest decade in gaming?

Can you write an article about how toxic the Star Wars fanbase has become? Ever since Episode VIII came out the fanbase has become flat-out unbearable.

Do you plan to review any of these games:
    – Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE
    – Metroid Fusion
    – Resident Evil 2
    – the 3DS Senran Kagura games (Burst and Deep Crimson)

What year would you consider to be the greatest for gaming?

Do you plan to review more Lupin the 3rd content, like the TV Specials, the TV series, The Woman Called Fujiko, etc.? Discotek has localized a ton of Lupin stuff as of late.

How does reviewing games differ from reviewing movies?

Are there any games that you wish you could like but for whatever reason just cannot connect with?

What does your dream scenario Pokemon Switch game look like?
