Video Game Awards 2019: Introduction

Ah! Finally, I am getting around to my 2019 video game awards (celebrating the video games of 2018). I know, you’re probably wondering why it took me so long to get around to them, seeing as we’re now in the fifth month of 2019, I should have gotten around to my awards for 2018 a lot sooner. Well, to explain in lengthy, excruciating detail as to why it’s taken me this long to get around to it, and why I’m still going ahead and writing it at this point…

Because I am.

Joking aside, it just took me a while to get around to playing many of the biggest games of 2018. And as life has gotten more hectic for me in recent months, it’s made gaming time that much harder. But I’ve gotten around to playing those last few 2018 games I really wanted to play (beaten most of them, but not quite all, with reviews of those I’ve finished to come in the near future). So here we are.

Now then, let’s get down to business! To defeat…the huns!

Wait, that’s not right…

Just…just stay tuned. I hope you enjoy my video game awards. Apologies again they’re so late this year.

Born of cold and winter air and mountain rain combining, the man called Scott is an ancient sorcerer from a long-forgotten realm. He’s more machine now than man, twisted and evil. Or, you know, he could just be some guy who loves video games, animations and cinema who just wanted to write about such things.

      1. Ah, thanks! I haven’t played that many games from 2018, but I really liked Marvel’s Spider-Man, and I’m really digging Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom. So far, the latter is a better Metroidvania than Metroid: Samus Returns.
